court-records.us/ is privately operated. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Courts, PACER, any state judiciary, county or municipal court, clerk of court, judge, sheriff, prosecutor, public defender, recorder, or other government office.
Educational navigation service
We publish guides that help readers identify official courts, clerks, portals, record-request procedures, and public sources. We do not maintain official court files, accept filings, issue case numbers, certify documents, collect court fees, provide docket notifications on behalf of a court, or authenticate records.
No legal advice
Nothing on the site is legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. Court procedures, filing rules, deadlines, public-access rules, sealing standards, expungement procedures, copy requirements, and appeal rights vary by jurisdiction and can change.

If our description conflicts with a current instruction from the responsible court or clerk, follow the official source and report the discrepancy to us.
No guarantee of completeness
Online case systems can exclude sealed matters, confidential documents, certain case types, older cases, archived records, recently filed material, or records stored in another system. The absence of a result is not proof that a case or record does not exist.
No guarantee of identity
We do not certify that a search result belongs to a particular person or business. Similar names, aliases, spelling variations, incomplete identifiers, data-entry errors, and jurisdictional differences can produce false matches.
